Passionate Music Teacher 

Location: Sunderland
Pay Scale: £110 - £185 per day

Are you a dedicated Music Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Sunderland? GSL Education is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic school environment and inspire students with the joy of music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3-5, catering to varying levels of musical ability.
• Foster a love for music and creativity among students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
• Organize and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choir rehearsals, band sessions, and musical productions.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider musical curriculum and school events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Music or relevant equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Music in secondary schools, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
• Proficiency in playing musical instruments and leading ensemble performances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering creativity and talent in young musicians.
