About the Role:
GSL Education are actively seeking an EY Teaching Assistant for immediate placement at Client Schools in Sunderland . We are looking for someone with a heart full of compassion and a mind filled with ideas to create an environment where young minds blossom and thrive. Early Years Teaching Assistant Role:

• Assisting the class teacher in meeting students' educational and social needs.
• Providing personalized 1:1 support to a student with complex requirements.
• Prioritizing the enhancement of social, life, and communication skills through tailored lessons, activities, and group sessions.
• Collaborating closely with two learners with complex needs alongside a lead teacher.
• Contributing to the planning and preparation of learning activities, resources, and materials aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Assisting in the assessment process and maintaining comprehensive records of each child's development and progress.

The successful candidate will:

• We encourage individuals aspiring to work in pastoral roles, including child psychologists, educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, SALTs, counselors, and social workers, to apply.
• Prior experience in a support role within a school or a child-related setting.
• A compassionate and professional attitude, with an enthusiasm to assist with personal care for students.

• Must have legal right to work in the UK.
