This Tipton based school are looking for a humanities teacher to join their vibrant department for their Key stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4) students to deliver one (or more) of the following subjects:

• Geography
• History
• RE

Responsibilities for the Humanities Teacher role

• Deliver humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
• Full planning, marking and assessment required.
• Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
• Work with Head of Department to plan lessons.
• Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
• Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.

Required skills and experience for the Humanities Teacher role

• Experience in teaching humanities in upper school
• Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS / ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
• Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
• Previous humanities Teacher experience.
