Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Childcare Assistant to join our team. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of exceptional care and education to young children aged 0-5 years. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for young children.
• Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, toileting, and outdoor play.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

• Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also demonstrating initiative and independence
• Previous experience in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential
• Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development opportunities
