ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in the Ipswich area Starting as soon as possible 5 days a week. This role will involve some personal care.

The school is an Ofsted 'Good' 2 form entry Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school provides training to all staff. The successful candidate will be providing support in across the school and provide class cover where needed.

Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

* Type of work - Higher Level Teaching Assistant, providing support across the school and covering lessons
* Contract or position start date - ASAP
* Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
* Contract type - Temporary
* Full-time/part-time - Full-time
* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £90 per day
* Hours - 8:20 am - 15:30pm : Mon , Tues, Thurs, Friday. Wednesday 8:20- 16:45 Pm (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience of working in a support role in primary schools
* GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
