We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary School Teaching Assistant to join our team of education professionals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a variety of secondary schools in Northamptonshire, providing valuable support to teachers and students across different subject areas and year groups.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist subject teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated learning activities to meet the needs of students.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and supporting the preparation of progress reports.
* Help to create and maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment conducive to learning and personal development.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
* Previous experience working with secondary school students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
* A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
* An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures relevant to working in a school environment.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo clearance) is essential.
