About the Role:

GSL Education are actively seeking a Science Teacher for immediate placement at Client Schools in Gateshead. If you have a true love for science and excel at fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere, we invite you to take hold of this thrilling opportunity to enact change. 

Science Teacher Role:

• Craft detailed lesson plans customized to address the unique requirements of students with diverse learning styles.
• Foster active student engagement through the design of stimulating and participatory learning activities.
• Lead practical scientific experiments to deepen comprehension and practical application of subject matter.
• Utilize a range of assessment techniques to precisely evaluate student advancement.
• Offer insightful feedback to students, aiding them in their educational advancement.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere through adept management of discipline.
• Undertake supplementary duties as necessitated by the position of Science Teacher.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status
• Have a degree in subject area
• Be passionate about their subject area
• ECT’s are welcome
• Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
• A full checkable work history
