Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to start in ASAP for an outstanding SEN school

This large secondary SEN School caters for pupils aged 5 - 16. It is already a wonderful school with a friendly ethos, a great environment, and a high quality of teaching and learning. You will access excellent training and professional development and will have the chance to shape the future development of your school. Special school teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons which cater to the needs of individual EHCP plans
  • Be responsible for all assessments relating to class students
  • Be aware of, and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils within your care
  • Work collaboratively with both teaching and support staff to ensure best outcomes for students
  • Foster independence in students and promote wellbeing and good welfare
