Year 1 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Working Days: 3 days per week (Part-time)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a primary school in Tonbridge for a maternity cover position, starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for early years education to make a significant impact in a supportive and vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and educational lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Monitor and support the learning of our students, adapting your teaching methods to cater to individual needs.
- Maintain positive behaviour and encourage a collaborative classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for the next stages of their educational journey.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly in Year 1.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and child development.
