Special Needs Teacher – Key Stage 3 & 4
Are you passionate about teaching children with additional learning needs?  This excellent special school that supports secondary aged children with moderate learning difficulties and Autism. This role requires a teacher who is happy teaching at a Key Stage 2 / 3 Level and is suitable for either a primary or secondary qualified teacher with experience working with special educational needs.  As a Special Needs Teacher at this school, you will be joining an outstanding team of highly experienced teachers and support staff who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with additional needs.

The school provides a nurturing and caring environment for students with special educational needs, and the leadership team have been recognised for going above and beyond to provide a brilliant education for all students. As a Special Needs Teacher at this school you will be teaching a small class of students who are currently working at a Key Stage 2 ability level and will receive excellent support form a team of experienced Teaching Assistants. This role requires a qualified teacher who holds QTS.
 
Job Role:
  • Teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 Children with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism and MLD.
  • Develop and deliver personalised lessons catering to each child's specific needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO and Teaching Assistants to ensure effective support for all children.
  • Cultivate a nurturing, welcoming, and secure school environment.
  • Empower young learners to overcome academic and social barriers.
