The School and Role

This large, two-form entry primary school in Everton, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a nurturing and patient Teacher to work in a Year 2 class with 22 cohorts. This is a full-time role, starting mid-May, and will be ongoing through to the next academic year, covering maternity leave.  The school acknowledge in their approach, that individuals have different strengths.  They provide a wide range of opportunities for their pupils to make the most of their particular talents both within the curriculum and in the many exciting activities which take place outside the classroom.  They are proud to be a school which has a strong sense of tradition whilst also seeking innovation.  Underpinning everything that they do is a set of simple but far-reaching values: an understanding and respect for others, a sense of responsibility, the importance of self-belief, and a willingness to support each other.

Requirements

  • Relevant Teaching qualification and QTS in the UK
  • Experience working with Primary aged children
  • A positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
