Position Overview:
As a SEN Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to children with SEN or ASD. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to children with SEN or ASD, assisting with daily activities and routines.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes learning, independence, and social interaction.
Implement individualized support plans, ensuring that the specific needs and preferences of each child are met.
Monitor and assess the progress of children, reporting any concerns or developments to the appropriate team members.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create comprehensive support strategies.
Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and any incidents, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting children with SEN or ASD.
Qualifications:

Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Care or a related field.
Previous experience working with children with SEN or ASD is essential.
Understanding of SEN and ASD, including common challenges and effective support strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with SEN or ASD.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of children and the environment.
