YEAR 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT - MORECAMBE - GENERAL SUPPORT

A primary school in Morecambe is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and pupils in their Year 2 class.

The position is full time, working 5 days a week, 8.30am until 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties will include:

• Preparing activities and lessons
• Behaviour management
• Delivering engaging sessions, one to one
• Supervising and providing particular support and encouragement for the pupil
• Ensuring pupils safety and access to learning activities
• Supporting pupils with specialist needs and implementing IEPs
• Phonics

Teaching Assistant Key Information:

• Morecambe area
• 5 days per week
• £13.50 per hour
• To start from ASAP

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification
• Experience and knowledge of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Behaviour management
• Adaptable and flexible to support the class teacher and to suit needs of pupils.
• Available full time for the duration of the assignment
