Job Description:

As a Design and Technology Teacher specializing in Resistance Materials, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and engage Key Stage 3 students in the fascinating world of design, technology, and engineering. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of Key Stage 3 students.
  • Utilizing your expertise in Resistance Materials to facilitate hands-on practical activities and projects that stimulate creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore, experiment, and succeed.
  • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to support their academic growth and development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular themes and initiatives into the Design and Technology curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Specialization in Resistance Materials within the field of Design and Technology.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 students, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
