We are recruiting for a 1:1 Behaviour Buddy for a Primary School in Gateshead to work closely with a pupil in Year 6 who may require additional support in the run up to their SATs.

Your role & responsibilities:

* Provide practical support 1:1 with pupils and support with the creation or development of their individual Care Plan
* Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
* Demonstrate outstanding commitment to the development and implementation of a rigid Behaviour Management strategy

Non-negotiables:

* Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
* Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
