YSA Education are currently working with SEN residential and schools within and around the Handsworth, Birmingham area. We offering the opportunity for individuals from care and youth work backgrounds looking to transition into working within a education setting on a temp to perm basis.

Role Requirements:

  • A nurturing individual with a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching staff.
  • Prior experience of working with children or adults with Autism.
  • Residential care experience is also welcome.
  • Prior experience working with children or vulnerable people.
  • DBS on the update service or willing to get one that is child and adult.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

The suitable applicants must have experience or willing to gain experience within special needs. Support will be provided for any teaching assistants that feel they have transferable experience.
