About the Role:

GSL Education are actively seeking an HLTA for immediate placement at Client Primnary Schools in Newcastle. Join us in sculpting brighter futures and fostering a community where every learner's journey is celebrated and cherished.

HTLA Primary Role:

  • Inclusive Classrooms: HLTA Primary SEN ensures diverse needs are met for full participation in lessons.
  • Differentiated Instruction: They adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles, promoting academic progress for students with SEN.
  • Individualized Support: HLTA offers one-on-one assistance tailored to students' needs, reinforcing concepts and ensuring mastery.
  • Access to Resources: They facilitate access to specialized resources and technology to aid students' learning journey effectively.
  • Social and Emotional Support: HLTA Primary SEN fosters confidence, resilience, and positive attitudes towards learning and social interactions.

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a recognized Teaching qualification in the UK or have relevant experience.
  • Engage in a variety of settings including whole-class, one-on-one, and intervention sessions.
  • Establish strong connections quickly and have the knack for delivering lively and well-paced lessons with appropriately tailored content.
  • Demonstrate confidence in planning sessions independently or following provided schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Have previous experience teaching secondary-aged students facing significant learning obstacles, alongside a nurturing and empathetic demeanor.
  • Be self-assured in directing support assistants.
  • Hold a valid and up-to-date DBS on the Update Service along with professional references.
  • Provide a comprehensive and verifiable work history.
