Permanent KS2 Class Teacher Post

(Main Scale M1-M6)

This is a full-time post.

Rossington St Michael’s is a proud member of the Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust. It is a fabulous school with fantastic children who are aspirational and are keen to learn and engage. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, excellent and committed class teacher, to join us on our journey to becoming an outstanding school serving a very special community. The successful candidate will work in a KS2 class, dependent on their experience but preferably upper KS2. You will work alongside a dedicated team to secure the very best outcomes for all our children and will be supported by a strong team of leaders, teachers and teaching assistants.

We are looking for someone who:

     Is an excellent classroom practitioner with experience in KS2, preferably upper KS2.

     Is an inspirational teacher for children and colleagues.

     Have a real passion for promoting a love of learning.

     Is an expert at ensuring pupils make rapid and sustained progress

     Has excellent behaviour management skills

     Has an inclusive approach and able to provide an accessible curriculum for all

     Is driven and take pride in all that they do

     Has the ability to engage and enthuse pupils having a creative way to approaching lessons within a primary setting

     Has the ability to focus on raising pupil attainment and progress

     Will support the ethos of our Church of England setting.

     Will be committed to the school and will contribute to all aspects of school life.
