An excellent opportunity has arisen for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in the Peterlee area. This is an SEMH school for pupils with anxiety issues. The role will be for ongoing, full time work across the school starting from 20th of May to cover maternity leave until at least the end of July. In this role you will be covering lessons with small groups set in KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate would have good presence and a wish to work in schools who have pupils with SEMH. You might be a new graduate considering a role as a Teacher, a TA or HLTA or someone with a Post 16, Youth Work or Outdoor Education qualification. Training and mentoring will be provided.

In addition, you must:                         

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
