Teaching Personnel have been approached by a secondary school in Darwen to recruit and appoint an outstanding PE Teacher due to a recent resignation within their department.

Start Date – Immediate

Contract Type – Full-time, Temp to Perm

Pay - £30,000 + based on educator’s main pay scale

The school is in an excellent location for travel by car or public transport, being a stone’s throw away from the M65. It has been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. With a new policy in place, behaviour is rapidly improving, and the school is on its way to successfully cultivating a calm and purposeful learning environment. Pupils engage positively in their learning and many achieve well.

Job Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

-          Undergraduate degree in PE/ Sport

-          A minimum of 6 months’ experience of teaching within an effective PE department
