Wayman Education is looking for a supportive, passionate, and dedicated KS1 teacher in Haslemere, Surrey from September 2024! This is an opportunity to work within a ‘Good’ 2-form entry school based in Surrey, Southwest of London. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

This is a beautiful and diverse school in Haslemere, Surrey. It is easily accessible by public transport and seeking to appoint a qualified Primary teacher from September 2024. The school has a Good Ofsted rating. The school is happy to consider applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. KS1 Teacher responsibilities:

·         Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge KS1 students

·         Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards

·         Assess and evaluate KS1 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies

·         Provide regular feedback to KS1 students, parents and colleagues on student progress

·         Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

·         Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals

·         Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences

KS1 Teacher requirements:

·         QTS, PGCE and strong academic record

·         Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner

·         Passionate about learning

·         Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a KS1 environment

·         Able to communicate your passion to children and parents

·         Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom

KS1 Teacher Salary

The salary for this KS1 Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale.
