Secondary Cover Supervisor - Secondary School in Northampton, Northamptonshire

We are currently seeking motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team at a Secondary Academy School in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons across a range of subjects to students in Year 7 to Year 11.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FULL TIME - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across multiple subjects to students in the absence of a teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with students and supporting their academic progress
• Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum

Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• A good understanding of the secondary school curriculum and the ability to teach across multiple subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
