Supply Teacher Position at Randstad Education

Are you a passionate and qualified teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated supply teacher to join our team providing supply cover to primary schools within Luton. This position will offer you flexible working days, you choose which days you are available. Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • 2 references for the last 5 years (including a full child-based safeguarding reference)
  • Experience working in either primary or secondary school settings
  • An up-to-date DBS on the update service (Randstad can support with this)
  • Right to work in the UK

As a Supply Teacher, You Will:

  • Showcase flexibility in your availability, confidently teaching in various primary and secondary schools across Bedfordshire.
  • Motivate and stimulate learning through engaging experiences.
  • Provide pastoral care within a secure learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of children's personal, social, language, and physical coordination abilities.
  • Create visual aids and teaching resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and volunteer helpers to plan and coordinate indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and maintain positive relationships with parents.
  • Assess and record each child's progress, ensuring a holistic approach to their development.
  • Prioritize the health and safety of children and staff during all activities, indoors and outdoors.
  • Stay informed about changes in the curriculum and best practices.
