About the Role:

GSL Education is collaborating with a warm and inclusive school in Horncastle, actively searching for a dedicated and full-time SEND Educators for a permanent role. We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting diverse learners and have expertise working with students who have Special Educational Needs.

SEND Educators Role:

• Cultivating positive connections with students, parents, and staff.
• Offering classroom aid to students with SEN and Autism, following the lead of the classroom instructor.
• Conducting pre-planned lessons and tasks when the regular teacher is unavailable.
• Skillfully handling behavior issues and fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for learning.
• Working alongside the SEN team to execute personalized education plans (IEPs) for students.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students with special needs and autism.
• Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher or be a Graduate considering a career in education.
• Right to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to adapt to different learning environments and work collaboratively with other staff members.
