MOMENTUM TRAINING is one of the East Midlands' leading Training Provider organisations, who work in both the Skills and Employability sectors.
MOMENTUM TRAINING currently has a vacancy for a Construction / CSCS Tutor to join their team. The role will be based in Basingstoke and will involve working in the Hampshire region.
The CSCS Tutor will be responsible for providing employment support and tailored training to learners accessing the organisations training centre. Creating new delivery modules and courses to address the local needs of employers and learners.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Delivery of Construction training leading to CSCS cards for learners and provide employability support
- Development of learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet learning aims
- Development and effective promotion of independent learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet learning aims
- Produce quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for classroom led sector and employer led courses
- To develop new course material to meet the needs of the learners and the local labour market
- Delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment and that encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision
- To provide confidential and impartial information, advice and guidance on employment and learning opportunities
- To manage a revolving caseload ensuring learner satisfaction as well meeting outcome targets
- To ensure learner files meets contractual compliance
- Learner journeys are reviewed regularly and recorded effectively
- Effectively track learner progressions whilst on programme and upon leaving
- Ensure success stories are prepared, circulated and displayed
- To carry out any other duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Teaching qualification – e.g. AET / PTLLS
- At least 3 years construction background or experience of delivering training within the area
- IAG Qualification (desirable)
- Highly skilled communicator
