Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant   
Location: Croydon, Greenwich, Lewisham, Brixton and Southwark   
Salary: £102.60 - £114.00 per day  
  
The role: 
 
Anzuk Education is seeking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) across all year groups. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. 
  
  
Key Responsibilities of a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA):
  

• Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies 
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected 
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning strategies 
• Support students with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility, as required 
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation 
• Provide one-to-one support and assistance to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom 

  
What do you need  to be a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA):
 

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable 
• Demonstrated experience in working effectively with children  
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Exhibit empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of students with SEN 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team 
• A positive and proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges and adapting to the needs of individual students 
• Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are advantageous but not essential
