What will you be doing:

• Be actively involved in supporting pupils’ day-to-day learning and development.
• Supporting communication and language development through the use of British Sign Language
• Supporting ongoing assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils’ progress.
•  Ensuring that all pupils receive a high standard of physical and emotional care.
• Support pupils' personal care and medical needs where necessary.
• Supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons both inside and outside the classroom.

What do you need:

• A strong understanding and knowledge of British Sign Language
• An understanding of children’s development needs.
• Experience working with children or adults with additional needs.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive and encouraging team.
• Enhanced DBS (can be obtained during the interview process)

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday (Term Time only)

Salary:  £22,500 – £29,550 FTE per annum (actual salary based on experience)
