A DT Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in North London.

You will need to teach KS3 to KS5 DT lessons for this DT Teacher role.

This DT Teacher role will be full time and permanent.

If you are an experienced DT Teacher looking to progress your career, the school can offer a Lead Teacher of KS3 Art and DT.

Standard class teacher responsibilities apply for this DT Teacher position. This includes but isn't limited to planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending regular team meetings/parents evenings.

The rates of pay for this DT Teacher role will be between £170 to £260 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

The School

An 'Outstanding' mixed all-through. The school was rated as 'Outstanding' in all areas in 2017.

Support from the parents of pupils confirms the SLT continue to actively improve on the schools successes.

The school operates a 3 year KS3, where all the core National Curriculum subjects are taught.

In KS4, all students do the EBacc core subjects, with the following options: Classics, Performing Arts, Music, Art, DT, Food Tech, PE and Computer Science.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified DT Teacher or experienced DT Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained DT Teacher or overseas trained DT Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience as a DT Teacher in UK Secondary schools
