ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a qualified teaching assistant holding level 2 or level 3, to work at a school based in Coventry from September 2024. This is a full time position until Christmas in the first instance, but for the right candidate would be for the full academic year, leading to a permanent role. About the role

The role is looking for a qualified teaching assistant to work with a class of KS1 children from September 2024, assisting the classroom teacher with general duties and small groups. The applicant would need to hold valid and relevant qualification and relevant experience in Primary Schools, which could be referenced.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Level 2 Learning Support Assistant - Coventry you will:

• We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
• All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
• Need to provide professional or academic references.
• Attend a face to face interview (due to Covid-19 this will now be a video interview).
• A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
