Flourish Education are recruiting for a PPA teacher to work in a school in the Kingswinford area. The teacher would be required to work 3 days per week across the primary age range (Reception to Year 6)

There is no expectation for planning so the PPA teacher would follow work left by the class teacher. Marking and feedback regarding progress would be expected. As this position is a long term role, commitment to the school and the students is necessary.

Job role

• Teaching across the primary age range
• Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff.
• Show secure subject knowledge to support learning.
• Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems.
• Working 3 days per week

Required skills and experience

• Valid teaching qualification (QTS).
• Previous experience working across a range of Primary year groups
• A nurturing and caring approach with young people.
• Commitment to a long-term role.
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
• Minimum of 2 excellent references required.

The teacher role is based in the Kingswinford area so is easily reached by public transport from Stourbridge, Dudley and Brierley Hill. For those travelling by car, the school is accessible from Dudley, Hagley, Halesowen, Wombourne, Oldbury and Kidderminster.
