Job Title: PSHE Teacher - 

Location: Worthing, West Sussex 

Position Overview: 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic) Teacher to join our team in Worthing on a full-time basis, starting after the Easter half term. This position offers an exciting opportunity for career advancement, with the potential for progression to the role of Head of Department. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting the holistic well-being of our students and delivering engaging PSHE lessons that equip them with essential life skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PSHE lessons that cover a range of topics, including mental health, relationships, personal finance, and more. 

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to participate. 

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive PSHE curriculum that meets the needs of our diverse student body. 

  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs to ensure all students reach their full potential. 

  • Stay updated on current issues and best practices in PSHE education to continually enhance teaching strategies and resources. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, PSHE, or a related field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred). 

  • Previous experience teaching PSHE or related subjects at the secondary level is desirable. 

  • Strong knowledge of PSHE curriculum frameworks and educational standards. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities and backgrounds. 

  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and personal development of students. 

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community. 

Salary Range: £174-£270 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)
