EdEx - Education Recruitment, are exclusively working with one of London's leading 'All Through' schools in Westminster, to recruit the next group of exceptional graduates to join their school as Unqualified Learning Support Assistants supporting students with additional needs (SEN). The daily rate for these roles are £115 per day, way above most schools in London.

We have worked with this Westminster based school for the last 4 academic years, in which we have placed over 20 graduates who have now gone on to complete their teacher training with the school or trained as Psychologists, Counsellors, Mental Health Practitioners or gone onto Assistant Psychologist roles with the NHS.

You will have the chance to learn from the best staff in London, shadowing them and learning your craft, whilst being supported and pushed to be your very best.

You will support a wide range of pupils with additional needs (SEN) including; Autism (ASD), Global Developmental Delay, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Speech and Language needs and other Neuro Developmental Disorders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Unqualified Learning Support Assistant
  • Supporting students in a 1-2-1 and group setting, inside and outside of the classroom delivering specialist SEN Interventions to students with SEN
  • ASAP Starts - Full time - Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Daily rates of £115 per day
  • Located in the Borough of Westminster

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have a 1st class or 2:1 degree from a reputable University
  • Strong A Levels & GCSEs across the board
  • Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
  • You must be able to engage and motivate the students
  • Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout!
