Teaching Assistant Darlington

Hours - 8.30 to 3.30pm

Teaching Personnel are on the outlook for a successful candidate to support one of our local schools and work across all years. You will be supporting the pupils to improve the quality of their learning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with children across all key stages

• Has a working knowledge of phonics 

•Loves working with children of all abilities; being able to forge positive relationships quickly.

• Can lead by example and will embody our school mission statement.

• Works well in a team and can take own initiative to create a fun and safe space for children

- Be able to motivate and support pupil(s) to remain on task and complete work in a focused way.

- Meet the holistic needs of the pupils of the children under the direction of the class teacher and senior staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
