About the school

An  early years provider in Newcastle upon Tyne  are looking for a new nursery nurse  to join their friendly and supportive team in their nursery. The Head Teacher is looking for candidates that have a passion for supporting children in their early development phase. They will consider candidates that have a care background, university graduates or any educational setting experience.

Nursery Nurse role

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 3-4.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities.
• Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the nursery adheres to all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be available for work Monday to Friday (phone number removed)pm on a long term basis. This roles is term time only .
• Willing to work with additional needs
• Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
• A fully checkable work history
