Teaching assistant - Wandsworth

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work within a mainstream Secondary School in Wandsworth, supporting pupils with SEND. We are looking for dynamic and adaptable Teaching assistants, that will be able to support pupils daily in the classroom.
Job Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant
* Supporting pupils with various SEN including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties.
* Supervising pupil's behaviour
* Encourage and support the pupils learning and development
* Support social interaction
* Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities
Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant
* Experience of support children with SEND
* Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities.
* Strong communication skills
* Valid child and adult enhanced DBS registered with the online update service or be willingness to obtain one
