The School and Role

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs on their learning journeys?

I would love to hear from any enthusiastic, motivated people who want to become Learning Support Assistantsin a specialist school in Chippenham.

You will be supporting children either 1:1 or in the general class who have profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will need to be reliable and flexible as each day is different!

You do not need any qualifications – just the ability to engage and inspire children with additional needs.

The hours for a Learning Support Assistantare full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:50 – 15:20, term-time only.

There are a range of short term and long term roles available.

Requirements

The ideal SEND Learning Support Assistant  will have:

  • Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs
  • A caring, patient nature
  • Friendly and nurturing qualities
  • Well organised and reliable
