Are you a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher with a passion for nurturing young minds? We’re seeking an experienced and qualified EYFS teacher with a QTS in Early Years to join our vibrant team in the borough of Harrow.

Position Details:

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, during term time.

Pay Scale: EYFS Teacher: Daily Rate £160-£210 (In line with Teacher Pay Scale).

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term position.

Role and Responsibilities: As an EYFS teacher in Harrow, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for children’s lifelong learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered.
  • Assessing children’s progress and using this information to inform future teaching strategies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for children’s development.
  • Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and promoting a child-centred approach to learning.
  • Embracing continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.

Qualities Required:

  • To excel as an EYFS teacher in Harrow, you should possess:
    • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
    • Adaptability and resilience to meet the diverse needs of learners in a dynamic educational setting.
    • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
    • Experience and a proven track record of success in teaching within an Early Years setting.
    • A deep understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
