£130 - £211/day Excellent weekly pay!

 We are proud to partner with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Telford dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students within the KS3/4 key stage. The PRU is committed to helping students reintegrate into mainstream education or fostering success within the PRU environment, ensuring every student achieves their full potential.

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to small class sizes, with a maximum of 5 students, and will benefit from the support of Teaching Assistants within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, both academically and pastorally.
  • Contribute to the overall success and development of the PRU community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3/4 level (specialism not essential).
  • A passion for working with students facing challenges and a commitment to their success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Planning and Marking: Not essential, but advantageous if negotiable.
