An all-through SEN school is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This will be a full time, long-term position starting in April 2024. This will be a maternity cover for the full academic year however, there may be an opportunity to go permanent after the end of the contract.

In this position you will be working in a mixed KS3 class of Year 7 to Year 9 students with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties. You will be aiding student learning predominately within the classroom on a 1:1 basis however, you will also need to run 1:1 sessions outside with students who struggle with being in a classroom environment.

Based in Bromley, the all-through SEN school provides education for students aged 5 to 19 years old with Autism and associated Learning Difficulties. The school apply a holistic approach to learning and work closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists to bring the best out of students. The school take pride in providing mainstream education to students through the national curriculum. The school is easily accessible by public transport and also, they provide parking onsite.

• Hold previous experience working within SEN
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
