Job Description:

• Maintenance Mastery: Utilize your skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs to uphold the functionality of school facilities.
• Cleaning Excellence: Ensure cleanliness standards are met through diligent sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitization efforts.
• Security and Safety Stewardship: Safeguard the school by monitoring security systems, conducting regular inspections, and implementing safety protocols.
• Groundskeeping Greatness: Keep outdoor areas safe and inviting with meticulous upkeep of playgrounds, sports fields, and landscaping.
• Health and Safety Priority: Proactively enforce health and safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and promptly address maintenance issues.
• Event Support: Assist in the seamless execution of school events by setting up equipment, arranging furniture, and preparing facilities.
• Communication Champion: Foster effective communication with school staff, contractors, and external agencies to coordinate maintenance efforts and address concerns promptly.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum six months experience in secondary school maintenance.
• Flexible availability to accommodate the school's needs.

Salary: £11.98-£13.56 per hour
Hours: Full-time, hours would be a mix of 8am -3.30pm but it could change to 6.15am – 2.15pm or 10.30 – 6.30pm
