The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with students facing a variety of special educational needs, including physical, emotional, and learning difficulties. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Personalized Support: Provide individualized assistance to students, empowering them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their fullest potential within the Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) framework.
  2. Progress Tracking: Monitor students' development closely and provide constructive feedback to teachers and parents, ensuring continuous educational growth.
  3. Emotional Nurturing: Foster a nurturing and secure environment, offering emotional support and encouragement to students as they navigate their educational journey.
  4. Effective Communication: Maintain transparent and effective communication channels with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in each student's education.
  5. Promoting Inclusion: Champion a culture of inclusivity and belonging within the school community, ensuring that every student with special educational needs feels valued and embraced.


We're looking for candidates with:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (preferred).
  • A compassionate disposition, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students with special educational needs thrive.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and a collaborative spirit to seamlessly integrate into our school team.
  • Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is advantageous.
