Location: Enfield, London

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Term Time

Salary: £100-£120 per day

A prestigious school nestled in the vibrant community of Enfield is seeking a dedicated and experienced High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their passionate team. Situated in the diverse borough of Enfield, known for its rich history and green spaces, the school prides itself on providing a supportive learning environment for its students.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Support the educational and social development of pupils under the guidance of the teaching staff.
  • Lead small group interventions to provide targeted support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
  • Contribute to the development of resources and learning materials to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Uphold the school's ethos and values, promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting teaching and learning activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, whilst also demonstrating initiative and autonomy when required.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
