Position Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the learning process during teacher absences. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and engage students in pre-planned lessons across various subjects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to students, fostering active engagement and learning.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and handle any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and academic excellence.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle different subject areas and classroom environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
