 We are looking for Lean Manufactory tutor join our team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive instruction and guidance to individuals or groups seeking to learn and implement lean manufacturing principles in their workplaces. Your role involves teaching various aspects of lean manufacturing methodologies, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, and assisting participants in applying lean principles to improve operational efficiency, eliminate waste, and optimize processes. Additionally, you will assess learner progress, provide feedback, and customize training sessions to meet the specific needs of each audience.

Responsibilities of the role:

As part of this role, you will:

Curriculum Development:

Design and develop training materials, lesson plans, and curriculum outlines for lean manufacturing courses based on industry best practices and learner needs.

Instructional Delivery:

Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on lean manufacturing concepts, tools, and techniques using a variety of instructional methods, such as lectures, case studies, simulations, and hands-on exercises.

Adapt teaching strategies and content delivery to accommodate different learning styles and levels of expertise among participants.

Lean Principles Education:

Teach fundamental lean manufacturing principles, including waste reduction, value stream mapping, 5S workplace organization, standard work, visual management, and continuous improvement methodologies like Kaizen.

Tools and Techniques Training:

Provide instruction on specific lean tools and techniques, such as Kanban systems, Just-in-Time production, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die), and Six Sigma methodologies.

Practical Application Support:

Facilitate hands-on exercises, simulations, and real-world application projects to help participants understand and apply lean concepts in their own work environments.

Offer guidance and assistance to learners in implementing lean principles, troubleshooting challenges, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Assessment and Feedback:

Assess learner comprehension and skill acquisition through quizzes, tests, practical demonstrations, and project evaluations.

Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and support to help learners overcome obstacles, refine their techniques, and achieve mastery of lean manufacturing concepts.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging practices, and advancements in lean manufacturing methodologies.

Continuously evaluate and enhance training materials, methods, and curriculum content to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with industry standards.

Client Consultation:

Consult with organizational leaders, managers, and stakeholders to understand their specific training needs, goals, and challenges related to lean implementation.

Collaborate with clients to customize training programs, workshops, and learning experiences to address their unique requirements and objectives.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, assessment results, and learner feedback.

Prepare progress reports, training evaluations, and recommendations for further improvement or follow-up training initiatives.

Training and Instructional Design: Proficiency in designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and instructional materials tailored to different learning styles and audiences, utilizing effective instructional design principles and adult learning theories.

Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose training needs, identify root causes of performance gaps, and develop targeted solutions and interventions to address them effectively.

Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to adjust training content, methods, and approaches based on learner feedback, evolving needs, and changing circumstances to ensure maximum effectiveness and engagement.

Continuous Improvement Culture: Understanding of the principles and practices necessary to foster a culture of continuous improvement within an organization, including leadership commitment, employee engagement, and knowledge sharing.

Coaching and Mentoring: Ability to provide constructive feedback, guidance, and coaching to learners to enhance their understanding, skill development, and application of lean principles in real-world situations.
