Supply desk are seeking an outstanding nurturing, vibrant SEN teacher to work closely pupils with complex learning difficultuies in a school in the Watford area.The school is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced SEN school teacher with a proven track record of success in the classroom. Which involves working 1:1 or with small groups of students from variety of ages, providing a personalised learning approach to get ensure students become happy and confident in their different learning pathways.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Patience and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility, openness to new ideas and ability to identify students’ weaknesses and strengths
  • Ability to create a conducive and positive learning environment
  • Empathy, sensitivity and compassion
  • Strong interpersonal and leaderships qualities to engage students, parents and other professionals in the educational system

  • Sensitivity and understanding.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • The ability to work well with others.
  • The ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things.
  • Organise and provide instruction at a variety of different levels to children who have emotional, behavioural or learning difficulties or physical disabilities.
