Job Title: Health and Social Care Trainer / Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Must be flexible with home-based working, with occasional face to face travel.

Our client is happy to consider candidates based in West Midlands; East Midlands; North West and North East.

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Drawing on the wealth of experience you have within Health and Social Care, to deliver short courses and diplomas to learners working in the Care sector.

Full training and support will be given to trainee candidates to achieve their Teaching qualification.

Duties:
  • Deliver a range of Health and Social Care AEB short courses/certificates, along with the Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care Worker, and Level 3 Diploma in Lead Adult Care Worker.
  • Delivery is predominantly online – with some face-to-face workplace visits when required. 
  • The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
  • The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help them realise their potential.
  • You will follow schemes of work but have the flair to make them your own, and deliver encouraging, nurturing and motivating training.
Essential Criteria:
  • Must hold own NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Ideally hold – or be willing to work towards - recognised level 3 teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent / above) or Assessors award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
  • Hold occupational experience within Health and Social Care as a Senior Support Worker or above.
  • Must be comfortable delivering remote online training and face to face - 1:1 and group based as required
  • Must be IT literate, with confidence to deliver via video platforms e.g. Teams/Zoom. 
  • Experience in workplace training is highly desirable.
  • Organisational skills are a must.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
