We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join us for one of our Schools in Halifax. The school caters to young people aged 10-16 of whom have been identified as having associated Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

Provide Education are looking for Teaching Assistants who have a nurturing and warm approach and who can support their vulnerable young people and create strong relationships with both children and staff. The school uses a restorative and trauma informed approach which allows their young people to reintegrate into learning.

Teaching Assistant role includes:

• Mentoring and supporting students by supporting in classroom, outreach and outdoors
• Help with creating educational materials and supporting the achievement of learning goals, especially emphasising behavioural management.

The desired candidate will:

• Have experience supporting in an SEND school
• Team Teach/ PRICE trained
• Be a qualified Teaching Asisstant
• Strong Maths and English
