Are you passionate about science education and inspiring the next generation of scientists? ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Supply Teacher to join our team in Stoke on a long-term basis.

About the role

As a Science Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage with students from diverse backgrounds, delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will foster a positive learning environment, promoting scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to the school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and achievement.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of KS3/4 Science Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in science, with the ability to teach across key stages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing student potential.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain and enhanced DBS check

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
