About the Role

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join our supply register working on a full time basis in Halifax with Primary SEND learners. This will involve providing learning support to Primary learners throughout the school day. You will support with communication and interaction, behavioural support and in some cases, assistance with physical and personal care needs.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a small group of children in an outstanding setting supporting a dedicated team. There may be opportunity to apply for the role on a permanent basis and transition to school's own payroll following an initial period working and being paid through Vision for Education. This route offers a number of advantages, to be discussed with your consultant.

To be considered for the role of Early Years Practitioner you will:

  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of working in an Early Years setting with experience supporting EYFS children, working with the early years framework, phonics and supporting SEND 
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
  • Be seeking work on a full time and permanent basis. (This role is not daily or weekly supply, however we do offer this)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Early Years Practitioner Qualification/Experience
