Job Advert: School PE Teacher

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Salary: £140-£200 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hours: 08:15-15:30

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation to lead active and healthy lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at Veritas Education for Secondary Schools in Barnsley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Foster a love for physical activity and sports among students.
• Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs and teams.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic PE curriculum.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching PE in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
• A commitment to promoting physical health and wellbeing.
